The GreenSpot
Framework
A user-centred approach to advancing enterprise outcomes through AI, AR, XR, and VR — so you always know exactly what to pursue, what to prepare for, and what to avoid.
Find Your Sweet Spot
for Innovation
The GreenSpot™ Framework identifies exactly where technology maturity meets your commercial readiness — ensuring you only invest in what scales.
Developed by Immersive Realities, it provides a user-centred approach to mapping the best digital engagement paths across your enterprise — bringing together AI, Augmented Reality, Extended Reality, and Virtual Reality with your existing data streams and cloud infrastructure, at a pace that matches your readiness.
The GreenSpot is the intersection of all three dimensions: where technology is mature enough to deliver, your organisation is ready enough to adopt, and the business case is strong enough to justify the commitment. The result is a clear, evidence-based pathway — from data collection to data-driven decision making.
What the Framework Delivers
The GreenSpot™ Framework is a hands-on partnership — not a report delivered from a distance. Here is what we do together.
-
Work with you
We create a user-centred design framework that maps the best digital engagement paths to reach your customers, employees, and business partners — building enterprise solutions around their actual needs, not the technology.
-
Create value for your enterprise
We build greater engagement within your organisation — connecting your people, processes, and partners through meaningful technology experiences that generate measurable business outcomes.
-
Guide you through integration
We bring together AI, cloud deployment options, IoT, and diverse data streams at your own pace — managing the complexity of integration so your team can focus on outcomes, not infrastructure.
-
Help you innovate
We apply AI, Augmented Reality, Extended Reality, and Virtual Reality to your existing processes and workflows — enabling your teams to seamlessly engage with customers, suppliers, and employees in new ways.
-
Shift to data-driven decision making
We help your enterprise move beyond data collection to genuine data-driven decision making — surfacing actionable insights from your technology investments and making them visible to the people who need them.
What We Evaluate
Each dimension is assessed independently using a structured evidence base before the three are brought together in the GreenSpot analysis.
- Technology Maturity
How mature and reliable is the technology for your intended use case? We evaluate vendor stability, hardware readiness, software capability, integration complexity, and long-term platform viability.
Key evaluation criteria:
- Platform and vendor stability
- Hardware availability and performance
- Software capability and reliability
- Integration complexity with existing systems
- Long-term roadmap and ecosystem health
- Organisational Readiness
Does your organisation have the people, processes, culture, and data infrastructure to successfully adopt and sustain this technology? Readiness is often the limiting factor — not the technology itself.
Key evaluation criteria:
- Leadership alignment and sponsorship
- Data quality and availability
- Internal capability and skill sets
- Change management capacity
- Process maturity to support adoption
- Commercial Opportunity
Is there a credible, quantifiable business case? We model the full investment picture — costs, risks, and potential returns — to determine whether the opportunity justifies the commitment.
Key evaluation criteria:
- Quantifiable efficiency or revenue gains
- Total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Risk profile and mitigation options
- Time to value and payback period
- Strategic and competitive significance
How It Works
A GreenSpot evaluation is a structured engagement typically completed within four to six weeks, depending on the number of use cases assessed and the complexity of your organisation.
-
A structured facilitated session with your leadership team to align on strategic objectives, define the scope of the evaluation, and identify the technology use cases to be assessed. We establish the evaluation criteria and success metrics before any analysis begins.
-
A rigorous, evidence-based assessment across all three GreenSpot dimensions. We conduct stakeholder interviews, review technical and operational documentation, analyse market and vendor data, and model the commercial case using your organisation's specific context and constraints.
-
Each evaluated use case is plotted against all three dimensions to identify its GreenSpot position — the degree to which it sits at the intersection of technological maturity, organisational readiness, and commercial opportunity. Clear visual outputs communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Evaluated use cases are ranked into four categories: Pursue Now, Prepare For, Monitor, and Park. For each "Pursue Now" recommendation, we define a clear implementation pathway including quick wins, dependencies, investment requirements, and risk mitigation measures.
-
Findings are presented in a comprehensive GreenSpot Report — an executive summary, detailed dimension scorecards, prioritised roadmap, and a set of decision-ready business cases. The report is designed to support internal approval processes and provide a durable reference for your programme.
The GreenSpot Report
Every GreenSpot engagement concludes with a comprehensive, decision-ready report and presentation delivered to your leadership team.
-
Executive Summary
A concise, jargon-free overview of findings and recommendations — designed for board and executive audiences who need clarity without detail.
-
Dimension Scorecards
Detailed evidence-based scoring across all three GreenSpot dimensions for each evaluated use case — documenting the methodology and evidence base transparently.
-
GreenSpot Visualisations
Clear visual representations of where each use case sits across the three dimensions — providing an intuitive framework for prioritisation conversations.
-
Prioritised Roadmap
A sequenced implementation roadmap categorising each use case and defining the next steps for those recommended for immediate pursuit.
-
Business Case Templates
Investment-ready business case frameworks for "Pursue Now" recommendations — including cost models, benefit projections, and risk registers.
-
Capability Gap Analysis
Identification of the skills, processes, and infrastructure investments needed to support successful technology adoption — with a pragmatic plan to address them.
Right for Your Organisation?
The GreenSpot Framework is ideal if…
- You are exploring AI, AR, XR, or VR but haven't yet committed to a specific technology or vendor
- You have an existing technology pilot that isn't scaling as expected
- Your board or leadership team needs a credible, evidence-based business case before approving investment
- You want to understand what your competitors are doing — and whether you need to respond
- You have limited internal capability to evaluate emerging technologies objectively
You may not need it if…
- You have already completed a thorough internal evaluation and have strong organisational alignment
- You are in a production deployment phase and need implementation support rather than strategy
- Your organisation is at an early exploratory stage and not yet ready to commit to a structured evaluation
